    STEP 1.  Select your department by clicking +Add Item. (see help text)

  • Department*
    Click on Add Item. A dialogue box will open; scroll to select your department. Once you select your department, you will see in the right pane that appropriate individuals/committees will populate based on your department/school.
  • IMPORT COURSE INFORMATION

    STEP 2.  DO NOT type in your course or number prefix.  You must Import current course information.  To Import your course prefix and number:

    • click the blue downward arrow (located above in this pane);

    • click your desired catalog;

    • filter the courses by prefix. Click on the down arrow to the right of "filter by field" and choose "prefix";

    • type in the course prefix (e.g. CHE) in the prefix field;

    • click "search available curriculum";

    • scroll down and/or click on "next" to locate your course;

    • click the desired course;

    • click "import this item."  Course information, as it appears in the catalog, will automatically populate into the respective fields in this form. You will still need to complete additional required fields.

    This course is for Appling Lessons learned in SPM-236 and SPM-336 courses. The student will demonstrate the skills learned in Digital Video, Audio, Computer Graphics, Digital Replay, and Digital Processing of Sporting Events to the Modern Streaming Media Field. The student will commit to 40 hours of total time in both in-class lessons (1 hour in class the first week of classes and one in-class session the last week of classes) and at the sporting event site producing a streaming product. The students will Learn and Practice the rolls of the Sports Media Producer, Sports Media Director, and the Media Talent. They will also learn the different ways the Digital Signal can be offered to the general public.

    To launch the proposal, scroll to the top portion of this pane, click on the blue right arrow icon to launch your proposal.  Your proposal will now be located in the My Proposals tab. Hover over your proposal and click on the Edit Proposal icon.

    Now that your proposal is launched, you are able to make edits within the respective pre-populated fields, as well as complete ALL required fields (denoted by an asterisk) in this proposal.

    Impact reports show which programs and courses are affected by the proposed change. To generate an impact report: 1. scroll to the top of this proposal; 2. On the left pane, hover and select the icon that says "Run Impact Report" (looks like a notebook); 3. This will open a new window; 4. Click on the appropriate catalog then click "Generate Report"; 5. Once the report is generated, copy and paste the results into the impact report field, or if the results are quite lengthy, copy and paste the results in a Word file and attach the file to your proposal. To attach a file, scroll to the top of the right pane and hover over the icons and select file. The right pane will now allow you to browse your computer and upload your file(s).

    The catalog notes field can be used to include additional administrative information that will appear in the catalog with the course description (e.g., indicating a Raquette Lake trip is required).

    To attach a file:  scroll up and navigate to the top of the right pane; hover over the icons and select FILES.  The right pane will now allow you to browse your computer and upload your file(s).

  • STEP 4.  Approve your proposal. 

    When you have completed the proposal, as the originator you must Approve your proposal.  By approving your proposal, this will move it to the next step in the approval process.  To approve, scroll to the top of the right pane and click on the Decisions icon (5th icon).  Click Approve then click Make My Decision.

  • User Tracking

    Help: Show Original: This option displays the proposal as it appeared at launch. No markup will be visible on the form. There will be no differentiation between fields that contain imported content and content that was created or selected by the originator by hand.

    Help: Show Current: This option displays the proposal as it appears currently. No markup will be visible on the form. There will be no differentiation between fields that contain imported content and content that was created or selected by the originator by hand.

    Help: Show Current with Markup: This option displays the proposal with all of its current content marked to show different editors. Text fields that include imported content are indicated by a blue highlight, and may also include additional changes within, indicated by each editor’s unique color. Fields containing selects, checkboxes, radio buttons, or widgets (such as the curriculum) provide an activity log above the field, indicating each editor’s selection and unique color.
